Welcome to The Shady Lady! Located a 1-minute drive from downtown Guerneville, close to river access, hiking trails, wine tasting, restaurants, shopping, the ocean and more! Perched up on its hilltop lot and surrounded by a grove of redwood trees, its neighborhood location is perfect for a weekend retreat, romantic or friends' group getaway. The cabin is 2 levels, 2 bedrooms, 2 newly renovated baths with a comfy day bed in the living room that rolls out into a trundle bed and sleeps 2.  There are also 2 separate individual sleeping areas downstairs.

The Shady Lady is the perfect getaway from the busy city life! This cozy cabin has 2-3 off street parking and sleeps 6 guests with capacity of 8. High speed internet for all your streaming needs, two Smart TV’s and a cozy wood burning fireplace. The entry of the main house is on the top level (about 50 steps to climb to the top) where you'll find a large open floor plan living room, newly renovated kitchen, 1 primary bedroom w/ queen size bed and Stearns w/ Fosters Luxury Plush pillowtop mattress, 4 pillows in both medium and firm softness, sheets, down comforter, and 1 full ensuite bath w/ access to the 3-person hot tub located on the back deck for maximum privacy. The newly renovated Kitchen is equip with all of your cooking needs: gas stove, microwave, toaster, various cooking utensils, dishwasher, wine fridge and refrigerator. The downstairs includes the second bedroom with queen-size bed w/ Caspers memory foam mattress, 4 pillows in medium and firm softness, alternative down comforter, sheets, and its own separate full bath.

Several levels of outside deck space eye level with majestic redwood giants where you can enjoy the afternoon sun. First level deck features the barbecue, picnic table and full bbq kit. The very front deck features a reading bench and hammock.  Each deck level as it’s own designated outdoor seating area.

We also offer board games, playing cards, and tennis rackets for the full size tennis court across the street! The interior living area of the house is approximately 1000 sq. ft.

Your well-behaved dog is welcome! Please only 2 dogs maximum, no cats. Dogs must be medium sized, no more than 40 lbs.

KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK:

Primary guest must e sign the house rules and rental agreement if you would like to see these rules first before booking contact the host. A Security Deposit Hold of $500 must be submitted 2 days before arrival (an email outside of Airbnb with a secure link to enter credit card details will be sent, if Booking on VRBO security deposit hold information is collected at time of booking).  After departure, the hold will drop off, as long as nothing is reported damaged or missing. Your booking also includes a unique Damage Protection policy that covers the owner from accidental damage by the guest up to $500.  Important please note: if booking via VRBO or Direct Booking site and guest cancels within the refund window there will be a 3% cancellation fee applied. Occupancy is strictly enforced to 5 maximum overnight guests and 5 maximum day time visitors. Please, no more than 10 maximum guests at the Shady Lady at any given time.

Things you will find at the house:

-Stove, refrigerator, ice maker, BBQ, blender, microwave, dishwasher, coffee-maker, toaster, complete cookware, wine cooler, dishes, glassware, and flatware. -An initial supply of toilet paper (two rolls and a spare per bathroom) and one roll of paper towels. -olive oil and vinegar -dishwasher pods, laundry, liquid hand soap. -Trash bags, dish towel, sponge. - High speed Wifi Internet. -No landline -Music player -One set of bed linens per bed/advertised sleeper. Beds will be made up with fresh linens. -One set of bath towels per person (a set is one bath towel, one hand towel and one wash cloth). -We also provide Hot tub towels. -We do not provide bar soap, beach towels or dog towels/bedding.

Things you will want to bring: consumables, your toiletry's, spices for cooking, other cooking oils you may use for cooking, more firewood.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-seven percent (97.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
