This cottage is centrally located in downtown Guerneville walking distance to R3 Hotel, Rainbow Cattle, Johnson’s Beach etc. The cottage is decorated in the Caribbean style unlike anything else available to rent on the river. 2 bedrooms, office, highspeed WiFi for remote work and streaming. The chefs kitchen is fully equipped w bakeware, glassware, and dishwasher. Formal dining area can seat 6. Backyard is ripe for entertaining, with a BBQ, patio furniture, firepit and 5 person hottub.

This is one of the original homes built in downtown Guerneville in 1910, with lots of the original fixtures from the era. The home is all one level, with only 2 steps to the entrance so is easily accessible for the not so “sure footed”. The home has central heat and air, ceiling fan in the main living area, and additional A/C in the dining area.
Step inside to find 1300 square feet of living space, accented by Banana leaf wallpaper in the dining area, comfortable seating in the main living space with reading nook, all of which easily convert to sleeping space.
The bedrooms are well appointed and decorated in festive Caribbean style decor. There is plenty of clothing storage space and seating available for all of your luggage.
There is a separate office and sleeping space off of the main bedroom. An extra monitor and height adjustable desk for those of you that want to work remotely. The WiFi is the highest speed available from Xfinity, so streaming and WiFi calling (necessary in this area with low to no reception for most phone carriers).
The bathroom has a tiled high ceiling open shower and the toilet is Victorian style (head on top). The water pressure is updated with new plumbing and high-water pressure for those of you that like hot showers.
The expansive kitchen just off the dining area has state of the art appliances, gas burning stove, and dishwasher. There is a separate 5 person bar table in the kitchen. The cabinets are stocked with enough dining and glassware to set a table of 6 for those of you who want to entertain. There is a kitchen aid mixer, commercial blender, microwave and air fryer combo, and even a Le Creuset for those of you that enjoy French cooking.
Just outside, you'll find a Weber BBQ, comfortable patio furniture that seats 4, and a propane fueled firepit that seats 4. The mature landscaped yard also features a brand new 2021 Marquis Elite Hot Tub that comfortable seats 5. The hot tub is covered by a canopy for maximum privacy.

By Booking Primary guest acknowledges a $500 Security Deposit Hold must be submitted 2 days before check in, hold drops off automatically 3-5 days after check out (an email outside of Airbnb with a secure link to enter credit card details will be sent, if Booking on VRBO security deposit hold information is collected at time of booking).  Your booking also includes a unique Damage Protection policy that covers the owner from accidental damage by the guest up to $500.  Primary guest must e-sign Vacation Rental Agreement prior to check in,  and is responsible for making sure all other guests are informed of these rules and follow them.


This property is located next to a bar and it can get very noisy outside at night during the weekends. Property is located on a one way street downtown Guerneville and there are sometimes completely harmless unsheltered individuals that may walk by from time to time.
There is 1 on site parking to the left of the front patio. Other parking spots on the street close by are free, although during summer and weekends it can fill up.This property does not have an A/C unit.

A camera is located on the exterior of the property: pointing towards the front door access of the house. Cameras are installed primarily as a theft deterrent. Cameras are not monitored and should not be relied on for personal safety. Cameras may be used to verify compliance with Vacation Rental Rules and Agreement.

This iconic cottage sits on a fenced downtown lot in the heart of downtown Guerneville - with its great restaurants, eateries, artsy shops, and many conveniences just out the front door. You can easily lounge on the banks of the Russian River at Johnson's Beach (5 minute walk), go hiking at Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve (less than three miles up the street), tour the region's many wineries and breweries, and admire the beauty of the rugged ocean coast at Sonoma Coast State Park (12 miles west).

Located just around the corner from main street in downtown Guerneville. The neighborhood is a mix of commercial, retail and residential homes. Close to coffee shop, yoga studio, world famous Rainbow Cattle Company, R3 Bar and Hotel, book store and restaurants.

Most guests travel to The Queen via motor vehicle, but once there you are within walking distance to downtown main street. Also short bike ride to Armstrong Redwoods, 5 minute walk to Johnson's Beach.

Cancellation Policy: Ninety-seven percent (97.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
